Army Goodwill School Aishmuqam extends the benefit of the Merit-cum-Means Scholarship under Operation Sadbhavana to deserving students from economically weaker sections. Approximately 30–40% of the students are covered under this scheme.

The scholarship is available to meritorious students belonging to Below Poverty Line (BPL) families. Eligible students are guided through the required formalities, and their cases are recommended by the Principal and approved by the Secretary, AGS, for onward sanction.

Under this scheme, the beneficiary student is required to pay only 20% of the tuition fee, while the remaining 80% is borne by the Indian Army as part of its goodwill initiative under Operation Sadbhavana.

The scholarship is renewed annually after verification of the student's academic performance and family financial status to ensure that the assistance reaches genuinely deserving beneficiaries. This initiative helps provide quality education to needy students and supports their academic aspirations.
