1. It is certified that Army Goodwill Schools have been established in CIF (V) AOR to provide basic essential education in order to uplift the social well being of the local population and help them merge with the mainstream of our country. The schools have been established as a civic action programme under 'OP SADHBHAVANA' for various districts of South Kashmir to provide schooling facilities with standards of education equivalent with the rest of the country.

2. The School Management Committee (SMC) will look after the general supervision and day to day mgt of the school in accordance with the rules and instructions as given in this SOP issued by HQ CIF (V). The SMC, besides regular members, shall also comprise of Honorary Members who may be selected parents (three or four) and can be rotated on yearly basis. The honorary members shall not have any voting/ financial powers. The SMC shall comprise of the following:

   2.1. *Patron: : GOC Victor Force.

   2.2. *Chairman: Commander, 1 Sector RR.

   2.3. Vice Chairman: Deputy Commander, 1 Sect RR.

   2.4. *Secretary: CO 3 Rashtriya Rifles.

   2.5. OIC School Maj, 3 Rashtriya Rifles (Nominated Officer).

   2.6. Members: Principal, Army Goodwill School, Aishmuqam

   2.7. Nominated Members: Two x Teachers.

   2.8. Honorary Members: Selected Parents (Five) (To be rotated every year).
